Blood Debt Playtest

BLOOD DEBT

A visual novel of less than 5,000 words, Blood Debt tells the story of a vampire who makes a grave mistake after biting his first victim. Follow his story and find out whether he is truly guilty for killing his wife, Lunia, after she begged him to turn her into a vampire once she learned about all of the amazing things that could come about the couple.

This is a playtest meant solely to receive feedback for a final version of the game. The final version may include other short stories if enough of a response is received. This is also my first visual novel, so any tips on programming with Ren'Py is much appreciated!

Disclaimer: Some voices present in the playtest (and some that aren't present) will be fixed upon the final release of the game. I merely had scheduling issues with the voice actors. Additionally, the art is not final, and it is concept art meant to evoke what the finished game may look like. Finally, the soundtrack is not final, though most original songs created by me will be present in the final game. The licensed music will not be present in the final game, but it is a placeholder meant to show what emotion should be felt in that scene. I do plan on adding a music room to the "Extra" menu once everything is set.
